Hi, this is Anby. I am poor in history so I can not tell you about the relation between culture and history (although it is a better way). Since I did a presentation on my class a month ago, and search the different holiday culture between Japan and Chinese. I will show you some interesting about I learned when I heard presentation by people. There are three holidays I want to show you culture different between Japan and Chinese. As you may know, new year is on 1st Janurary in Japan, also other western. However, China has two new -year days. One is on the same day as Japan, the other is on 1st January but it is on lunar calendar. Lunar calendar is a calendar come from China for few thousand years, so you can seems that as china culture. Secondly, Christmas is also different than Japan. For example, Chinese will give a typing apple as a Christmas present to him/her friends or family, Chinese believe that apple implys peace, so they tend to send apple to wish her/him friends or family health. Last, it is children day. You may know that child day is on 5th May in Japan, but do you know Chinese is different? It's on 1st June. Child day in China also has a celebrate than Japan, children under 4 grades will end the class by noon on that day.

Nearby country also has many different cultures, do you know some different to share us?

     Hello, everyone. I'm Jack The Ripper. These days, we are more sensitive to the environment. Global warming has improved worldwide and we are interested in it now. Desert area is expanded. So, what can we do for our important world, earth? In Japan, Japanese made hybrid car to reduce exhaust fumes and clean energy has been treated much more such as solar energy, wind power, heat under the ground and so on.       I often go to anywhere by bicycle because car's exhaust fumes affect environment greatly. I can't also drive a car, of course. Trying to save electricity is good for environment, too. What do you do for environment? However, we often affect earth badly. For example, we has cut trees to build new buildings and has burned forest to turn it into fertilizer.

Jack The Ripper Blog 1: Psychology

     Hello, everyone. I am Jack The Ripper. Do you enjoy your everyday life? Maybe you got a lot of stress in your daily life. I also get stressed and tired. In that case, do you have one way to relieve your stress? I can relieve my stress and anxiety easily. When I feel stressed and tired, I always do this ways. First, I sing songs when I am in that condition. It is because I like to sing a song. During I sing a song, I can forget everything which is caused on my daily life. Second, I go to bed to forget it. I often sleep for twelve hours when I am in that condition. Finally, I eat my favorite food, sushi to feel happy by eating it.
     In above, I talked the ways which I always use. In one of the reasons why we get stressed, there is stress that we get from job. So what motivates people to work hard? people who have already work for a long time think what the office's profit is and they work hard for that purpose. However, in my case, I work for something fun that I plan to do within early time. I also work hard because I want to earn much money and use it for my fun. In the world, however, there are a lot of people who work harder for them baby, son or daughter. I have to respect them because they have strong good idea.

     Hello everyone, I'm Jack The Ripper. Today, I'll talk about Japanese culture. In Japan, There are a lot of people who have sword called Bushi. They have strange hair style called Tyonnmage or Mage. These influenced on modern people and Japanese sport team members often are called Samurai Japan. In terms of buildings, there are temples and shrines in Japan. Tourists from foreign countries to Japan tend to come to see them, I think. So, what personality have Japanese had? I think Japanese tend to do everything with group. If Japanese act with nobody, Japanese tend to come to be shy and negative. This is Japanese problem which Japanese should change. Japanese also say hello with a very small voice.  However, Japanese have great personality. Japanese is very serious and delicate. These days, there are happy news for Japanese. Halloween party parade was held in Tokyo and a lot of people took part in it. Foreign people also do. Foreign people was interviewed in the news and they said that next day that was held it, the town is completely cleaned up. It is unbelievable in my country. I was so glad to hear that news. As Japanese have these beautiful personality, I think that Japanese will be able to hold Tokyo Olympic with no problem. I hope that seriousness of Japanese lead Japan to success and Japan will be more vital than what Japan is. Thank you for reading.

Anby Blog 4: Communication

Good afternoon, I’m Anby. Before I start my blog, I have a question to ask you at first-Do you think that media has a good benefit or bad affect?

 As you know, our earth is going to be narrow and narrow because media as TV, cell phone, internet and so on. These media make us to know what is happening around the world as fast as the things happening. We also can make a comment of what we are thinking. However, media also tells lies. We tend to be always checking what happens by internet, read some articles, but do you sure those articles must be correct? Can you say that won’t just the ideas of the editor? We can’t. Like if our country has different decision with our country, we also tend to support our own country, and there are also some people criticize the decision of other country, in the same way, these may be happened in other country. The most important thing of you is to judge true and false. When you are reading an article, you can choose different people who had wrote an article in same thing. Then you can compare them in your own ways, and have your own view. I am not meaning that media is terrible wrong, media also change our life in many ways and give us many benefit. For example, we can make friends with other people far from where we living and chatting with each other. In conclusion, good benefits or bad affect is depends on yourself.

I think kindly of historical buildings, world heritage and beautiful nature all over the world because they make me feel like enjoyable and feel my mind at ease. I would like to go to a lot of places but the best place which I want to go to is Uyuni salt lake, where is the place that is like white desert and is full of the grain of salt. When the tide comes in there, the surface of water is like mirror and it reflects the sky as it is. The scene is very beautiful and fantastic, particularly in the starry sky, as if I feel that I fly in the sky. I definitely want to go there until I die. I would like to visit them in the world in the future. However, the accident that is broken famous shrines and temple increase these days in Japan. For example, people sprinkle some liquid on them and people try burning them. The news about it often broadcast. I hear about it and am always annoyed. I do not know the mind of those who broke them. Buildings, especially the historical buildings and world heritage, should be protected by governments. I hope governments crack down on the offender and such an accident decrease.

Hot Blog 2: Environment

What helps or hurts the environment? I pay attention to generation methods. Such generation method as solar power generation, hydroelectric power generation and wind power generation is eco- friendly. They can bring about a lot of power by using things which occur naturally. Many countries including Japan take in them recently. I also speak for them in terms of helping the environment. On the other hand, generation methods do not only the environment but also us harm. The power is made from the natural objects but the help of people is necessary to change it into power. Thus, there are the advantages and the disadvantages and various troubles occur. For example, in case of nuclear power generation its advantage is to be able to produce much power by little nuclear energy and electric supply is stable, while its disadvantage is to be likely to give the outskirts plenty of damages when serious accident happens. It is tough to happen the accidents but it is tough to lose the electricity. I suggest some opinions. I think that the person who manages the generation methods should care about more it so the troubles are unlikely to happen and it can supply electricity safety. When the accident happens in case, we regulate the means or the institutions that deal it. For instance, if the earthquake occurs, we install the earthquake-resistant device. Therefore, if we make an effort more and more,  not only the environment  but also our lives are much better than now.
